Charles has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, beginning his career as a mixed-signal design engineer at austriamicrosystems. He later advanced to become Design Center Manager for Southern Germany at Thesys Mikroelektronik, based in Munich. Charles transitioned into a Field Applications Engineering role before moving into various sales positions at X-FAB Semiconductor Foundries. Leveraging his strong technical foundation, he successfully led business growth across Europe, North America, and globally assuming the roles of VP Sales Europe, North America and Worldwide between 2004 and 2025.

Charles holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Technology in Graz, Austria, and has completed numerous professional development programs, including Miller Heiman’s Strategic and Conceptual Selling methodologies and advanced management training programs.
