General John R. Allen, USMC (Ret.)

General John R. Allen, USMC (Ret.), is a four-star Marine Corps General and global leader in defense strategy, technology, and international security. He commanded U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan, served as Special Presidential Envoy to the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL, and has held senior policymaking roles at the Pentagon focused on Asia-Pacific strategy.
