Carlo Bozotti
Carlo Bozotti is a veteran semiconductor executive with more than 45 years of experience leading global technology businesses. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of STMicroelectronics (ST) and Sole Member of its Management Board from 2005 to 2018, overseeing one of the world’s top semiconductor companies with revenues exceeding $13 billion in 2024.
Carlo joined SGS-ATES (a predecessor to ST) in 1977 and advanced through senior leadership roles in product, marketing, and regional management. He led ST’s telecom products division, directed global strategic marketing, and oversaw sales across Europe and the Americas. From 1998 to 2005, he was Corporate Vice President and General Manager of ST’s memory products group. He also chaired Numonyx, a memory products joint venture between Intel and ST.
Beyond his executive career, Carlo has been active in European industry leadership, serving on the European Round Table of Industrialists from 2005 to 2018. He has also held board roles at Avnet, Nice, and Besi, and is currently an Industrial Partner at FSI, one of Europe’s largest private equity funds.
