Pirooz brings with him over 40 years of experience in the semiconductor industry having worked with notable companies such as Maxim Integrated (acquired by ADI), Aquantia (acquired by Marvell), and Global Foundries. He serves on the advisory board of multiple startup companies, and he has been a Board member at Invensense (acquired by TDK).

Pirooz has over 40 issued US patents primarily in semiconductors. His leadership experienced spans across various disciplines including mixed signal circuit design, process technology development, sensors, advanced packaging, EDA, and manufacturing. He previously has served as Group President, CTO, and COO in past roles.

Pirooz received his BSEE, MSEE from the California Institute of Technology and has further supplemented his education by completing a dozen graduate-level courses in device physics and semiconductor processing at Stanford University.
