Background Required

Degrees

  • BS, MS, PhD
  • Engineering (most common: Electrical, Engineering Physics, Materials, Chemical, Mechanical)
  • Non-engineering (most common: Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, Applied Mathematics

Helpful experience

  • Semiconductor classwork or certificate
  • Cleanroom lab experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage test structures and methodologies for device characterization and reliability assessment
  • Perform/lead electrical/reliability test failure analysis
  • Report conclusive test results to internal/external customers
